TERMS OF SERVICE

GENERAL TERMS

  • By ordering a commission and sending the payment you agree to these Terms of Service.
  • The artist has the right to decline any commission at any point in time for any reason.
  • All professional communication is handled via email unless the artist and the client are otherwise agreed to move to a different messaging platform.

ORDERING, WAITLIST

  • Commission orders can be sent at any point in time, even outside openings.
  • Orders are accepted, quoted, and looked at individually by the artist.
  • The client is responsible for clearly communicating their requirements, and supplying the artist with any necessary information to be able to execute the commission.
  • If all current commission slots are filled, the client can request for their commission order to be placed onto a waitlist. Waitlist positions are brought into the current queue in order, the sooner the client sends an email, the higher they’ll be on the list. 
  • The client will be contacted by the artist when their order is close to being placed into the current queue. If the client fails to respond after two weeks, the waitlist position will be removed.

PAYMENT, PRICING

  • Refer to the Rates Page for up-to-date pricing and commission types available.
  • Commissions are priced individually. The final quote is decided by the artist.
  • All payments must be processed via WISE transfer or PayPal invoice (In case of use of the second, an extra fee will be charged). Either half on start, half on completion, or fully upfront.
  • The client may request a payment plan on commissions quoted above $300.
  • No refunds during the commission process. Full refunds can only be issued before the start of a commission.

PROCESS, DEADLINES, REVISIONS

  • Any deadlines issued by the client have to be communicated and agreed upon prior to beginning a commission. The artist may incur a fee for strict deadlines.
  • After the client sends the payment, the artist will regularly communicate with and update the client on the commission’s progress. 
  • After the first conceptual sketch is sent, the client may request up to three major revisions. Once approved, the artist will update the client with the subsequent stages of the artwork.
  • Minor revisions may only be requested by the client in the middle of the process, once the approval was given by the client to proceed toward completing the commissioned artwork, the artist has the right to refuse any further alterations to the artwork.
  • Once the payment is finalized, the client will receive the full-resolution image of the artwork. The file will be in .png unless otherwise requested. 
  • If the artwork is required to be in any specific dimensions or size or is to be printed, the client must let the artist know ahead of time.

CREATIVE RIGHTS

  • The final artwork is strictly for personal use only.
  • The client may not sell, exchange, or profit from the artwork in any form, physical or digital, printed or NFT, under any circumstances unless paid for the right to do so and given permission by the artist.
  • The artist retains all commercial and creative rights to the commissioned artwork. The artist may sell prints and use the artwork in any online marketing, or published materials.
  • The client may not alter the commissioned artwork.
  • In the case of comic or editorial commissions, the terms of commercial terms will be agreed upon with the client before the start of the project.
